Most Bible schools work the same way. You go to them to learn.
That works if you live close enough, have the money to attend and can step away from work, family and ministry.
Unfortunately, most of the leaders and students we work with can't.
So Listen to Learn works differently.
Our students listen to trusted biblical teaching locally, on their phones and in their own language, wherever life takes them.
Practically speaking this means:
Over two years, they complete approximately 500 hours of practical biblical education without having to leave their families and the communities they live and worship in.
They learn in their language, on their schedule in their community.
HOW LISTEN TO LEARN WORKS
Education isn't the end of the story. It never was.
We believe good biblical teaching should change the way people understand Scripture, lead others and love the people around them.
Our classrooms may be small but our impact shouldn't be.
Traditional Bible colleges play an important role in training Christian leaders.
But they can't be everywhere.
This is especially true outside major cities, where distances are greater, churches are smaller and formal theological education can be difficult to access.
Listen to Learn was designed for those places.
We establish local schools in partnership with churches and Christian leaders. Students learn together while remaining rooted in the places where they already live and serve.
We don't ask leaders to leave their communities to get trained. We bring the training to them.
Because it works. No classroom required. Students can listen while walking, travelling, farming, working or at home.
No English required also. Where possible, teaching is provided in the language students know and understand best.
No relocation required. Students remain with their families, churches and communities while they study.
No expensive campus required. A Listen to Learn school can operate in places where building and staffing a traditional Bible college simply isn't practical.
Audio isn't a compromise. It's what makes the school possible.
It removes a barrier.
The leaders who join Listen to Learn already have responsibilities. Many are already preaching, teaching, leading churches and caring for people.
What they often haven't had is the opportunity to be trained.
That's where you come in.
